Moyes' fears about holding onto other Everton stars

Felli deserves to play in all the great teams and competitions in the world, i think he is a wonderful midfielder and will grow into a perfect one. As we are at the minute, we simply can't hold on to him. Lets just hope we get a good chunk of money for him and watch him be turned into a traitor

Fellaini is slightly over-rated, but Bill's got to big him up because the reality is that we have lost a lot of our best players.

This sounds very familiar to the Nasri scenario at Arsenal. They were in talks with him about a new contract, Cesc leaves, and then Nasri's no longer keen on a new contract. He's then flogged for an insane amount of money and Arsenal buy a couple of players to fill the void.
It'll be the same with us. Felli keen on signing, Arteta leaves. Felli see's that the club isn't exactly going 'forward', and decides that it's probably in his best interests to look for a move.
I just hope we don't buy gash players to replace him, or worse, play Heitinga in midfield instead of Rodwell.

No, it'd surprise me too. You have to think the lad is destined for the very top. Sadly we're not able to offer him that right now.

well flog him and sat he was **** anyway....its the everton way

as for moyes ...add this to his many contradictions. Worried about players being sold but has the best chairman in the world...

Spot on. We're not stagnating but....."
It will be really difficult to finish in the top 10. I think we are going to have a big struggle. Look at the spending of Stoke, Sunderland, Fulham and West Bromwich Albion".

...or,

Felli takes a look at the staggeringly good young talent and potential around him and coming through the Academy, where he would be (at 23!!) the elder statesman, and takes the view that there's something to build on here and lead, and create an awesome team to challenge over the next 5 years....

Haha. One horrible team. How much have they spent? And they have Dong and Bendtner up front. Relegation fodder IMO.

I would just offer him the extra wages that he's asking for if thats the problem, as long as theyre not astronomical

Surely he wouldnt be asking for more than the 75k a week we've just freed up from Arteta
