Probably no more major shipping out this season, but the breach has been made (again) and it'll be hard to close it up again.

I think he's telling us he accepts we're a selling club.

Although that looks up for debate when you read this from the Guardian:

'Fellaini has entered the final two years of his contract at Everton and, having allowed Steven Pienaar to reach the final six months of his deal before selling the South Africa international to Tottenham Hotspur for £3m, Moyes admits there can be no repeat with the influential Belgium midfielder. Moyes said: "I think an agreement is close. I might be wrong in the end but I think that one is close. We will probably have to act if it's not. I don't know if January is the exact timescale but we do have to keep the player's value."'

if he doesnt sign by jan i think it makes sense to sell him, will just have to hope at least 2 clubs come in so there is some kind of bidding war, sad times...

If he's not signing, flock him, he's a tit. Any other team would sell him too with his valuation.

No. If he's not signing then he's an intelligent human being.

He has the talent to go to any club in the world really, and we're standing still at best. We can't offer him the wages other clubs might either.

If he goes I just hope it's abroad, not to one of the f***ing Manc clubs or the Chavs.

Me too mate. I hope that whenever we sell a player or miss out on a player. Because then you don't get salt rubbed into the wounds every week on match of the day!

Sad, sad times.

According to Moyesie though, not only are we not in decline, we're not even stagnating.

Maybe he was talking about his own bank balance?

The way in which Moyes and even Tim Cahill have been judging protesters and defending the chairman really grates on me. It's fine and dandy when the club are paying you an unfathomable amount of money a week, isn't it?

I just wish they'd stick to their job to be honest.

I think we all would mate. They seem to think boardroom spokesman is their job at the moment.

Have to agree. If he hasnt signed soon then it's best to get rid.

However, we shouldn't be too hard on the 'Fro, we might be offering something rubbish and that's why he hasn't signed yet.

I don't know why people are worrying we have bill at the helm and he is a proper fan,i hope he gets another loud applause against wigan he deserves it for the stirling, honest job he is doing for us.

Yes there's nothing wrong for him to be ambitious, but can I not put him in the tit-bin if he does not sign? Football isn't about being rational. Not Everton anyway.

To be fair though Dave, probably 80/90% of clubs are in a similar boat. There's only a few (Man U, Chelsea, City, Barca/Real) that can spend with inpunity. The rest are struggling financially.
