Long term Everton target Joao Moutinho has refused to confirm that he will remain at his current club Sporting Lisbon next season, just weeks after signing an improved and extended contract tying him to the Lisbon club until 2014.
Moutinho: "I can’t guarantee now that I will remain here next season. There are still two games to go in the league and I want to keep working hard to help the team consolidate second place in the league so that we will play in the Champions League – that is my only objective right now.
“At the end of the season I will analyse everything and then decide my future.”
