See, if i was actually 'driving' i would potentially enjoy it. Seeing how i spent 1hr of my life not moving, i came home to work. Which i am doing ( despite this post ).

Yes. It's so monotonous, except when there's traffic, in which case everything takes twice as long. Drove back from Hull at the end of half term, took me 5 hrs. At one point I did 30 miles in about 1.5 hrs!

I didn't used to mind it.
Then one day a couple of years ago it took me 10 hours to get from just south of Bristol to Chester via the M5 and M6. Now it can GTF.
