Getting near midlife crisis time. Iv always wanted to ride but when younger my mum was dead against it..

I'm looking at getting my license currently but just wondered if any one rides here and could recommend bikes to fit taller guys! I'm 6 foot 7 so it's gonna be tricky.. Would prefer a cruiser style but if not then an adventurer type thing..

Any thoughts/tips/hints/cheese on toast recipes?

My dad lost a lot of Raf mates and my wife's a nurse so I'm still banned.

Yeah, I'd be more of a Harley cruiser barely doing the speed limit. Just to relax, I'm not in to race bikes...

But yes, defensive all the way and expect the worst from other road users!
 

Meh, they frighten the life out of me on British roads. Use the money to go and do Route 66 or US 1 on a hired Harley and get it out of your system mate.
 
i guess being 6' 7 thatll rule out a honda melody... get yourself a 500cc after your test maybe a triumph should be ok. im looking at a cbr125 today for my L plates and test etc. but ill be doing the 500cc route. good luck dont forget armour is where all your money should go and a good skid lid ;)
