Deulofeu for me. Yea, the dives were embarrassing but he looked most likely to test their defence.


Bit off topic, but we should get our lads to look at a replay of the game and study how Gabriel and Giroud dominated us physically. Stones and Lukaku could learn a lot from that.
 
Not feeling today's second coming of Deulofeu Christ today at all.

Galloway stood out because he was targeted so the commentator mentioned him more and he did a good job with Barry and Jags' help
McCarthy extinguished Sanchez successfully which is hslf the battle playing against the Arse.

Two wingers failed miserably though, really do need Baines back before we listen to the FIFA Experts again.
 

McCarthy was our most effective player today by a long chalk. And despite the red card Barry wasn't as bad as some are making out. Give Galloway a few seasons as a top flight pro and I can see him getting goal hauls like Lescott used to do....he keeps popping up in scoring areas but hasn't nailed one yet, but the promise is definitely there.
