Well the youngsters could be 19+ as opposed to 30 as we did win the fa cup 1995,can't remember a lot of silverware between WW2 and the title in 63 so sorry your facts are a bit off
From 1945 to 1963 is eighteen years at the last count. I dont think we played for any titles or cups during the war. So from 1995 to 2015 works out at twenty competitive years without sweet nothing. Now if you are counting non competitive years then of course you would be right, but guess what I dont think anybody else is. So my facts are right.

Don't know I'm still struggling with seeing us win it twice along with two league titles and a European trophy..........and countless charity shields

Maybe you should have been more specific, you said longest period in our history which it isn't 1939-1963 is longest period between trophy wins in our history, but to be actually factually correct the league never started again until 1947 so that period came and went under the moyes regime,oh and my son was at the 95 cup final and talks about it with reverence,he's 21 in December not nearly 30 just to clear the baby thing up ta ;)

Very good! I wish I could remember when I was a two year old or even five year old cos I dont have the foggiest when we won the title at home against the baggies in '70.

We'll I'd have to say that being reminded throughout his time that he was there and having photos etc have helped I would imagine.......plus the advent of sky tv,videos,DVDs and television :)

Distin is a complete mess.
Slows down everything all the time with his inability to pass the ball or make a decision.
Needs to go pronto.
He was excellent along with Jagielka in the Wolfsburg match and had been enjoying a good run of form since returning to the squad. He had a mare against Spurs along with two other experienced pros in Barry and Howard but these things happen especially with two tough away matches with little rest in between.

I think he and Alcaraz are currently competing for 3rd CB spot behind the first choice pairing of Jags/Stones but with our injuries and Barry/Besic needed in midfield our only other choices were an out of position Hibbert or Browning/Galloway.
