I thought lukaku was immense today and his fitness seems to have improved in the last couple of games. He was my motm closely followed by stones and naismith. Coleman and Barry had their best games in a long time as well. Things are looking up

But defensively he was brilliant and that allowed Coleman to get forward

exactly, today was never going to be about his attacking. The pace at which he presses players in a defensive situation is something no other everton player offers.

Yea he's so quick. He reminds me of a Barca player from 5 years ago when hunting the ball.

Him and Naismith gives us a press that has been lacking all season from the wings and it causes so many turnovers that just fall to our midfielders high up the pitch. Mirallas, Barkley and Eto'o are luxury players and right now with none of them particularly in good form I think we can only afford one of them in the team. I want to see Barkley and Mirallas putting that effort in.
