Toss up for me between Besic and Lukaku for me, both contributed in different ways, but both brought passion and energy to the team

Besic was that for me but I voted for Lukaku because he showed big improvements comparing to the last 4 games. Looked like a class act yesterday. And just to add to @SH1958 's stats: the whole West Ham team made 10 tackles throughout the whole game...

Went for Ov's, first full game back (I think) got the 90, fitted into a grossly misfiring side almost effortlessly, got in great positions and with a couple of different decisions things might have been very different, got the assist after superb tenacity by McGeady I hasten to add. Got forward a lot, won a lot of battles (and possession back) great to have him back, a real bonus to have him as an option for the run in and EL.

Notable mention for Lukaku, well taken goal, loads of effort, obvious relief at scoring. Just because the ball isn't finding him in the box is no excuse to try 30 yard wonder strikes. Lay the ball off, to the midfield backwards if need be (every bugger else does!) or the flanks and work front post, central or back post. Was a refreshing change seeing him win so many headers and flick ons.
