MOTD goal of the season

On the last MOTD of the season they showed all the winners of the goal of the month award. and for 4 consecutive months from September through to December the goal of the month was scored against us.
September - Petrov against Everton
October - Ruiz against Everton
November - Taylor against Everton
December - Van Persie against Everton
Were we so bad that we were open to conceding goals from any long range effort, or soo good that teams were resorted to taking all or nothing chances against us.
I can't imagine it being the latter due to our early season (lack of) form.
I'm just pointing it out really, seems an interesting record to be bestowed upon us.

Overall we had the third best defence in the PL, we conceded 1.05 goals per game with 32% of all our games finishing in a clean sheet. We had the 2nd best home defensive record and the 6th best away record. We conceded 0.79 goals per game at home however away we conceded 1.32 goals per game. So I wouldnt say the defence is that bad

I'd just say the rest of the league was worse. Standard of defending throughout the league currently is sh*te...
