Most proud night as Everton fan

As said earlier...Rotterdam. Basically it was part 2 of a possible treble only to be too exhausted to finish it with the FA Cup (it was our 12th game in just over a month which had the sf fa cup, sf ecwc, league title game, ecwc final). We knew and the whole of Europe knew that we were a force to be reckoned with and already being quoted as one of the favourites for the next seasons European Cup...........we all know what happened next but you cannot take the pride I/we had that night.

3-2 v Bolton - Tommy Graveson free kick near the end. Got smashed in a pub around West Derby that night and got some seriously funny looks at this "Devon Boy" going on about the blues.

Proudest moments are when we show our class in paying respects to various events like the atrocities in New York, just thinking about Super Kev laying the wreath in the centre circle brings a shiver down my spine.

Mate, do you know there is already a poster called Duncan Disorderly who has been here a while. Very confusing.

I was 13 at the time. I went the Bayern game but it wasn't until a couple of days later when we played Norwich at home that it dawned on me just how good we were. I went to probably 90% of the home games that season but the memory of that game against Norwich has stayed with me. The weather was sunny/hazy with lots of Dandelions blowing around the ground. Everyone was buzzing after the Bayern game but there was a weird Zen like atmosphere because we knew we had all turned up to pay homage to a great team. Everton dismantled/toyed with our opponents that day and I just felt immense pride.
