The other day, two youngesters approached to me while shopping in a store, asked me if I would be interested to join a mass in their Mormon church and meet the rest of Mormons in the city. They also gave me a book. I was surprised, they left after leaving their mobile. Not that I was really interested to go there but when I came home and searched for it (never heard of it before) it is a crazy sect, consuming coffee/tea or anything that contains caffeine is a big sin, it turns out. Any of you have friends that are part of this cult?

Going back 30 years I had a boss who was a Mormon , decent guy no issues from him re his religion. Occasionally he’d spit out the odd chocolate he’d been given when he realised it had caffeine in it, and you had to be careful if you went out for a meal with him as he didn’t drink but was happy to ply you with alcohol and ask you questions. Don’t think I’ve come across many Mormons since.

It's an American cult founded in the 19th century. There are others too like later day saints and jehova witnesses
Imo all money making corporations.
