Grimsby? We're playing Morecambe, a north west team. Grimsby is nowhere near it, that's the opposite side of the country.

Morecambe's not that far away, it's just over an hour or so in the car from Walton. Alright, it's not Tranmere, but it's also not Cambridge or Birmingham either like in previous years. It's the first pre-season game too, every single team in the world picks a supposed 'easy game' for their first friendly.

I take your point about Dundee United, but the club are basing themselves in Scotland and playing two games up there.
