Dear Maria,

I refer you to the following article today in the Liverpool Echo:

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/ever...d-bellefield-training-ground-100252-28433843/

This is the latest in a recent series of lazy, anti-Everton journalism by your paper.

It's all very well when there is some substance to your headline but I'm afraid this is a totally subjective piece, coupled as it is by a repeat of the rather disgraceful Ghosts Of Bellefield pictures which appeared just last week in the guise of a three-part 2 page spread deliberately showing Everton's former training ground in a derelict state. Why not show Everton's current training facility at Finch Farm (today) to counteract this heinous bias (or indeed Bellefield when it was in use)? Perhaps someone might even suggest that the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo have a rather large, well oiled, axe to grind with Everton Football Club! Who knows?

But in the meantime please desist from this kind of journalism and stick to the truth which in this instance is closer to:

Bellway hope to sell the homes for £28M rather than "make £28M (on the back of Everton "making £8M")" - you only need to do the calculation to realise that £28M divided by 74 (homes) is approximately £380K and they are developing (in your words) 74 luxury homes costing £350,000 to £500,000. If Bellway have discovered a way to build a new house for a negative sum (taking into account the £8M paid for the land) then this would be a much more interesting development

In the meantime the title and direction of the article is seriously misleading and unreasonable and I respectfully request your paper desists from this form of reporting.

This has been CC'd to Mirror Group in order to highlight this to the necessary level.

Haven't read it for beards. The insanely obvious bias towards Liverpool turned me away from it a long, long time ago.

Dont get me started on their social media bias.

It's unreal.

What was it Matt? 304 Liverpool 'tweets' since their last Everton mention?
