Everton Football Club - The Official Tourist Information Website for Liverpool and Merseyside

I've acknowledged the single page on their website which mentions the stadium tour. That excludes the excuse of ignorance for why there isn't a single mention on any printed tourist publication....

Probably wise checking tour links, on that one is another printed publication, mentioning;

ANFIELD EXPERIENCE
VIP days at Liverpool FC in the company of Liverpool Legends.
Exclusive access to Anfield & its former players.
Again, no Everton event...

And this for a year in the city's biggest library...Everlution....

Give it up, Danny. This is the worst 'find' since the Hitler Diaries.

Agree, as suggested by this thread - everyone already knows LCC dislike Everton. (y)

I've humoured you for a bit, you and your politician mind of doing anything and everything besides answering a simple question.

Why do LCC (endorsed, for arguments sake) publications constantly promote Liverpool events, but neglect Evertons?

I cant find one LCC printed publication that endorses an Everton event, in the same manner they do Liverpools. It really is disappointing.

Mate, you're flogging a dead horse here honestly. VisitLiverpool is the tourist arm of the Mersey Partnership. All the stuff you've produced are from brochures from that organisation and are backed by every Merseysdie Council. It's horrible LFC are a leading brand they promote, but there it is.

To single out the city council is delusional. (y)

*sighs*

Dave... I disagree mate. They're all working under LCC, hence why LCC have their name on everything I've provided. It's there for all to see "© Liverpool City Council", alongside a nice shiny LCC logo.

The arse end of it is, LCC endorsed printed tourist publication promote Liverpool - and exclude Everton. Of course Liverpool are more commercial, but as a club Everton sill have a lot to offer and tourists should be made aware.

Mate, at the risk of flogging a dead horse myself. VisitLiverpool is a Mersey Partnership arm that promotes this: a "Region, comprising of Liverpool, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral". TMP:

It's literature will reflect what they see as the economic powerhouses of the region tourist wise. Sadly Everton are not in Liverpool FC's league. I think that's why the brochures you first posted had Everton references to them but are completely outgunned by LFC stuff.

I suppose here's what LCC could have done regarding that disparity of exposure in VisitLiverpool's literature:

a) boycotted the whole lot

b ) insisted that equal space was devoted to each club.

I'd have some sympathy with the latter, tbh. But there it is.

But LCC here are at worst guilty of not demanding equity for Everton from another organisation.
