Plenty of Liverpool promotions, "Anfield Experience" and "Liverpool FC Musuem & Tour" - spot the Everton one?... - I'll save you the time, there isn't.

LCC are fully aware of events our club run - so why actively promote Liverpools and completely ignore Evertons?

i hope they aren't sending american visitors down there.

It is typical of the Councils favouritism though isn't it?

Why completely neglect Everton (apart from a small acknowledgement of the existence of the club, next to Liverpool...) from your official Tourist Travel Guide but include Liverpool FC attractions, three times;

The Ultimate
Anfield Experience
11.30am
This is a once in a lifetime
opportunity to live a day in the life
of a former Liverpool Legend.

Anfield Experience - VIP days at

Again, more promotion of Liverpool but not Everton.

We do deserve answers here, why does every LCC tourist publication heavily promote Liverpool events and exclude Evertons?

What can be the reason?

Ignorance? - I'd like to see that given as the excuse, given the nature of the publication and that of The Liverpool Culture Company. Ignorance would be difficult to plead regardless, given that the official Liverpool tourism website acknowledges Evertons stadium tours.

So what then, is the reason? It can only be favouritism, can't it?

Who would have thought it, LCC showing favouritism to one of their football clubs. Outrageous.

Here's a thought: if Everton FC didn't keep running down Goodison Park as a medieval death trap then maybe others would see its charm too?

PMSL here now. Those links to "LCC favouritism".....they're not from Liverpool City Council....they're from Liverpool City Region...a different creature entirely.

Incorrect.

They're on VisitLiverpool (100% LCC) and have "© The Liverpool Culture Company Limited and Liverpool City Council" printed on the actual publications.

Davek - Liverpool Politician, make no mistake (y) Even your hard pushed to meet your anti club / pro LCC agenda here. Lets not sabotage the thread with that - it's a simple question - why do LCC endorsed publications constantly promote Liverpool events, but neglect Evertons?

crazy you should mention this. my auntie came from nz only last month and she picked up that exact guide from the tourist office and some others. funnily enough no mention of everton but liverpool here, there and eveywere.

well said. pathetic and shameful from lcc. but if you live in the city, you've come to expect it.

Danny, Liverpool City Region is about the five Merseyside councils plus Warrington, Halton, and even North Wales. It's a bit rich singling out LCC for the criticism isn't it? The same council that's been running the Everton Collection for up to a year in it's main library....the same council that were partners for the Kings Dock.

Come on, mate, this vendetta - it's just because Bradley called the Kirkby stadium plans a shed in a small town.

Laughing here Dave, behave. You tedious troll you - your worse than Makis. Lets not twist the facts and lets answer the question.

Why do LCC (endorsed, for arguments sake) publications constantly promote Liverpool events, but neglect Evertons?

Oh look the same VisitLiverpool.com promoting Everton:

Everton Football Club Gifts and Memorabilia - The Official Tourist Information Website for Liverpool and Merseyside

Everton Football Club - The Official Tourist Information Website for Liverpool and Merseyside

Downloads - The Official Tourist Information Website for Liverpool and Merseyside

And this for a year in the city's biggest library...Everlution....
