You expressed the opinion that it was morally wrong, just asked you why you believe it is.

Benefitting enormously from the tax payers of this country and then hiding it overseas so our schools and hospitals are unfunded is not good. Not good at all.

i blame the government. They set up the tax laws. If i could get away with a penny in the pound tax i defo would.

You obviously believe that it is fair for middle to higher income earners to pay over the top tax rates then? So your opinion is that just because someone earns say 200K per year that they are going to get more use out of the public hospital system and public services?

I don't live in the UK and I jump through hoops in efforts to reduce my taxable income so I'm not paying unreasonably through the nose for a higher level of service than what I use.

I have not had a privileged upbringing, I was self funded through university which was a significant struggle, and have now achieved a role in a company where my salary ensures I have a comfortable lifestyle for me and my family. To have the sitting government penalise me at a higher rate of tax just because I have worked hard to get where I am frankly pisses me off.

So what if David Cameron's father was tactical with how his money was invested to make sure he achieved the best return for himself and his family, don't see how what his father did was morally wrong so ergo don't see how accepting an inheritance from the income off his fathers estate is morally wrong either.

As the saying goes people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones,Camerons foolish attack on Jimmy Carr has opened this debate, but will he disclose his tax records in full?

I wont be holding my breath.

The government should close any tax loopholes, they've had more than enough time, the country is by all accounts almost bankrupt yet huge companies are allowed seemingly to get away with paying tax the mind boggles

It's the sense of entitlement all the beneficiaries of wealth redistribution in this country have. They all think if you work hard and produce lots of cash that it's only right that you give huge chunks of it to them, while they sit around and play FIFA 2012 all day.

Exactly this....

The point is, Cameron has just publicly attacked someone for doing the same thing, yet his father did it for him, so it stinks of hypocrisy whether you agree with it or not is the point - i think - the OP was trying 2 make
