apparently it's the highest rated film of all time on metacritic, averaging 99 out of 100 after 50 odd reviews.

Saw it last night. Powerful stuff. Looks at the life of a young black man with all his attendant insecurities and doubts. Very unusual in dispensing with the usual black stereotypes. Miles away from something like Boyz n the Hood. Some great performances in it especially the two who have been nominated for Oscars
