Hi everyone,
I do not really post often but I am currently doing an assignment at school for English where you could pick any topic to argue about.
The topic I chose was money in Football and particualarly the EPL as that is the most well known league over here in Australia.
The main points I chose was why there is so much money being thrown into the actual buying of players and on their wages. I realise that the EPL and other football competitions are very profitable, but why can't more of the money go into more development in lesser known countries and third world countries?
I also wanted to raise points throughout my argument about the owners who spend ridiculous amounts of money on football clubs when it can be spent on beter things for the world.
As you can probably see I am not the best writer and I would like to ask for people to help me with information they might have about the money being spent and how it may have snowballed throughout the years to get to this point.
Really I would like any info to do with the money side of football as it might help my argument greatly as to how the EPL and other football competition have got to where they are in terms of spending money.
