Player Valuation: £80m
i guessing theres standard prize money, but further money from tv rights, merchandise etc especially with it being a merseyside derby, anyone have an idea?
should give us plenty of press anyway, so hopefully some rich fella will want to 'invest' or better still get rid of mr chairman

If we beat those [Poor language removed], i'll put a fiver on New England Sports Ventures selling the shoite and buying us instead. Wonder how people would react to that.

If we lose in the Semi we'll get £450k, plus another £1m or so from TV rights.

If we get to the final you take the £900k for winning the Semi, and add another £900k to that even if we are runners up. That's £1.8m not including TV rights or merch sales, plus the cut of the Wembley gate.

You're easily looking at £3-4m from the Cup if you get to the Final, plus another £1.8m if you actually go the whole way and win it. Make no mistake, the FA Cup and a couple of places higher in the league can make a massive difference for a shoestring club like ours.

wow, thats more than i thought! cheers

We got to the final in 2009, shipped out earners like Van De Meyde and Valente in the summer and still didn't have a pot to piss in until we sold Lescott.

And then you get to Europa league which translates to couple of million, I think.

Surely if CL is worth 90 mill, then the combined value of UEFA Cup has to be at least double digits too? I mean, we get 5-6 extra home games (where tickets are slightly pricier than usual, if i'm not wrong), plus the TV exposure and prolly part of the payment for away games. Also, we get a slight amount for results from UEFA (even a draw counts, i think), and then the money starts racking up rather nicely when we progress from the group stages - which we should be doing. We always do.

The CL isnt worth 90m.

I think you get around 20m for the 1st phase group phase.

And as far as im aware The Europa is worth complete buttons, thats why most teams cant wait to get knocked out.

£335k for winning the quarter final
£587k for winning the semi final
