Are you for or against matches on a Monday night? For me it ruins a weekend when Everton aren't playing. If there's a need for evening games, I'd prefer them to be Saturday night 7:45 or Sunday at 6pm.

What say you?

I don't mind them tbh, my preference though would be Friday night games.

Sunday at 6 is the worst suggestion ever, think of travelling fans.

Monday night games are **** when it's Friday, and you know you've got to go all weekend but when you finish work on the Monday night it's a boss feeling, knowing you can get on the ale and watch the match!

Any worse than having to travel back at 10pm on a Monday?

Friday night games would probably be better like.

So you aren't really against it. Youre just peeved off when Everton play on a monday as it ruins your weekend as you say?

I know what you mean though, as I was thinking the same thing this morning in a way. Normally I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow etc....

Which is why I'm against it. If there could be "Monday football for everyone but Everton" then I wouldn't really care either way. As it is, I'd rather the whole lot was done away with.

I enjoy the night games under the lights at Goodison, they're amazing in fact.

But Monday/Tuesday nights? Sunday evenings? Sky etc are aware that people have to actually travel to these places at these times?

Saturday night football would be epic. Like a night at the boxing.

I like the blues to play 3pm on a saturday though. The football focus, bet, bevvies, match, more bevvies, barmaid( or MOTD if unsuccessful) bed routine is the best thing in the world.

Being based in the Middle East, I'm 3 hours ahead of you, and weekends are Friday/Saturday, so 10am-noon Friday/Saturday would be ideal for me. Unless I'm in Asia for the weekend, then a bit earlier. If I'm back in the UK, then normal time suits me fine - I'm flexible.

As an armchair fan it is sometimes nice to have an extra game to watch on a Monday but I hate Everton free weekends and it is a nightmare for working fans to get to evening week games. We accpet that it is necessary to have medweek games soemtimes but chcuking in extras just to swell out Skys pockets is gash
