Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Anyone ever fly with Monarch ? Looking at booking our flights with them and price isn't bad, I have entered a code that knocks £100 off but do they ever drop the Taxes like the others do ?

They fly to Verona which is far more convenient for us than Bergamo i.e. a lot closer if we have to transfer ourselves and a lot closer for my arl fella to pick us up (saving him a fair bit in fuel and tolls £75ish).

Currently working out at between £470 and £570 depending if we reserve seats and how many bags etc for all 5 of us, but the taxes make up £200 of it.

Listen.

Not the greatest to be fair. The seats are tiny and they treat you like cattle.

But...

They are cheap and their safety record is ok.

all the budgets are like that though, I don't expect Concorde service for the price it is, clearly from searching for reviews online a lot of people do.

I'm just wondering if I should hold out for a price drop as there are plenty of seats it seems at the moment.

been with them a few times, not bad never had any problems, dont think the price will drop riedy, havnt seen it in the past the tend to go up near to the depature, saying that its always been kids holiday time when i have used them. sooner go with them than easyjet or most of the other bujet airlines i have used, jet 2 wernt that bad to be honest either.

They're chartered aren't they? Doubtful they will drop the prices mate.

As others have said, I've flew with them a few times and it's pretty standard for a charter flight so I'd have no bother booking with them. Get packing them trunks.

Loads of add ons when I booked with them five or six years ago. After spending twenty minutes or so jumping through various on-line hoops to book a flight they suddenly charged me ten extra quid for a seat. As if I could choose to stand, the robbing, misleading gets.
