An Everton FC fan made what he called a "schoolboy error" when he ordered a Juventus shirt with the name and number of Andrea Pirlo on the back - only to end up with with the Scottish village of Pitlochry because of the auto-correct settings on his phone.

The Blues fan made the hilarious mistake when ordered a Juventus kit for his son's birthday, and didn't realise his error until the kit arrived with the name of the Scottish village, famed for its knitwear, on the back.

He wrote on Twitter: "School boy error. When ordering Stephens juventus kit and wanted pirlo and my phone auto corrected to pitochry!!"
