Going back a bit but Everton's home tie with Inter Milan in the European Cup. I was right in the middle of GSE behind the goal with my Dad and Uncle and their mates. The crowd was absolutely massive twice the current attendance of a miserable 30 thou. Vernon scored and we went mad. Then that cnut of a ref disallowed it as offside which was a nonsense. That was the ref who it was revealed later regularly took bribes especially from Italian Clubs.

It's a shame that the only way we can see goals from the 84/85 season is from crappy old clips recorded onto YouTube.

Can't believe the club don't have a record.

some of the old black and white is better quality than the colour ones from the 80's. when did we move the camera's from the main stand side to the bullens ? i always wondered as well, was the old park end when it went underneath, an exact copy of the gwladys st ?

I couldn;t get to Elland Road for the semi-final but this is well worth a look.

Not the best of quality and questionable music but it's the action that counts.

Would of won the Cup without conceeding in any round if not for that ass referee who gave a penalty for no real reason, other than just trying to make the game interesting.

can't believe this is nearly 15 years gone now.. :unsure:
