Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
i'm currently out of contract with orange, so as i'm available on a bosman i thought i'd hold them to ransom, afterall if millionaire footballers can do it then it has to work surely (not calling anyone shirley before you all start).
after having a couple of s.e. smartphones p910i & p990i and
a) not using their features to their full potenetial.
b) getting sick of lugging a brick with rubish battery life around with me.
i have decided to go to the opposite end of the scale and get a s.e.w890i, mega thin and mega light. i have scouted around ont thinformation superhighway and seen websites offering a multitude of free gifts, a 160gb ipod caught my eye so i contacted orange and said that i can sign up via 1 of these sites to another network and get the gift along with the phone for nix, they then said no prob if you upgrade we will credit you with £145 which when it appears on your bill next month you can call us and we'll send you a cheque so you can buy an ipod(y) i then looked online and cheapest 160gb was £195 so i rang them back and they said ok £195 credited instead. so the question is....
w890i......any good ?
do you reckon i'm on a good deal there or should i try for more ?
i pay £35 get 500 xnetwork mins, 200 texts, unlimited landlines and about 8 magic numbers (orange numbers i can ring without it coming off my quota).

i just got the nokia n95 on 3 network 1100 mins or text for £20 a month and i also pay an extra £5 pound for unlimted internet on my handset

200 texts Reidy?

If you dont use them then fair enough like.

I am on PAYG with O2, tenner a month gets me unlimited texts and calls to other O2 numbers, which my girlfriend and majority of mates are on so its sound for me.

Oh, and one thing about Orange, if you have a problem you need to be able to understand Indians speaking English. I struggle.

O2 are fantastic for support.

been on orange all along and not really had any probs, signal been a bit shoite sometimes but thats all, most important thing is i have to keep my number due to ads, always thought tariff was ok, may be more than 200texts , never use em all either way or all my mins, the unlimited landlines means its always used at home which is quite a lot as even when i get called out i'm usually back home pretty sharpish.
i reckon with the £195 credited to me its a good deal, phone is pretty snazzy too but i always get the one i want, when the p990i 1st came out my brother in law paid about £230 for it yet i got it for free and money to buy tomtom as well.

I've just got a LG viewty on orange, purchased it tonight, 25 quid for unlimited texts and 100 minutes, which is good cus i text more then i ring.

I'm with Virgin Mobile lad, got a free phone (lobster, which ain't that great but i sold it for £20 so i made on it) and i pay a tenner a month and get 300 free mins and 300 free texts p.m, and even then they roll over if i don't use 'em all in the month(y) No contract as well so i'm not tied down to spending £35 quid a month

was looking at the cybershot phones, sis in law has k850i which is 5 megapixel and i still cant decide between it and the w890i,between her and all her mates they've had almost every phone there is and she really rates it, she has just had a baby though and is taking loads of pics. i try to avoid s.e. phones with a joystick cos someone on the orange handset faults line told me they have loads of probs with them (confirmed by someone in carphone warehouse also), i did have 1 with a joystick but it was forever getting nudged in my pocket and activating things as well.
for me i suppose i'm going to the opposite end of the size scale from the "smartbreezeblock" that is the p990i, it is on my person always in case i get called out and i'm just sick of it being the biggest thing in my pants. as well as that i am tyring to get a way from VPL (visible phone line) and when stretch jeans make a comeback later this year i dont want to look like i've cacked my kecks, prior to that it will need to fit into my borg tennis shorts (this years must have summer item.......you heard it here 1st guys, but you'll need a tan like mine to carry it off(y))
