Mobile Site Picture Uploads

I’m having a really tough time on my iPhone and iPad with pictures and uploads. On the mobile site there is no way to do any of the basic formatting, including picture uploads. This is on Google Chrome:



Also on my iPad (also on Google Chrome) I can’t get a picture to upload and appear as a picture. I tried to make a reply to a post about everyone’s second least-favorite club with a picture of Alan Partridge’s head and got this. I deleted the post just before it became permanent, but I’ve made 4 or 5 attempts and they all ended up like this.

found this a couple of times snouts, sometimes it works if I resize it and if not I usually post it thru giphy which takes about 3 minutes. Using an iPad as well.

Curiously the pictures I uploaded to demonstrate the problem worked fine and they were much larger (in dimensions, not file size) than the one that didn’t work.

It’s weird it doesn’t seem to matter on the size , sometimes the big files load and sometimes the 28kb files say ‘file too large’ if it’s just a photo I’ll try it twice and then post it thru giphy which seems to work.

On your screenshot the options are faded out because you've clicked the preview/magnifying glass.

I haven’t, actually. The options started out that way. Clicking the magnifying glass doesn’t change anything. Here’s what it looks like clicked and unclicked:

Have you copied the picture from the web? I find none of my uploads work if when I view the picture within the gallery it says 'go to website'. This might be just an android phone thingy though. I have to screenshot my screenshot until it goes and then I can usually upload it.

There isn't an issue with the forum. If it was, others wouldn't be able to share images.

So the issue then is your side.

Based on the additional screenshot, which show the quote code when you're not in preview mode, it looks like you've toggled the BB Code.

Click the three dots like the below and remove the BB Code toggle.









If you have it enabled, it will do this/preview mode;
