Mobile phones

We have a few elderly neighbours who give my lads money every Christmas, we make still make the eldest write thank you cards to them.

Simple manners.

You 'make' him write letters.
I have to make mine pick up the phone half the time.
Ungrateful gets.

Everywhere I look people are writing letters and stuffing them in envelopes.

Back in my day we used mirrors or smoke signals to get our messages across. Whatever happened to smoke signals?

I used to paint animals in blood on the walls of my cave, hydroglyfics I think the yuppies call it nowadays, where has this lost art form gone?

All the young kids don't even qualify them with "mobile"...to them, they are just "phones."

Also, you know how you extend your pinky and thumb and hold it to your ear to make a "phone" or "call me" sign. That has no meaning to young kids.

I have endured these things going off in theaters, cinema's and most infamously ,during a funeral service.

People chat and text whilst driving, and this is obviously more important than your safety.

A wretched manifestation of Thatcherite libertarian-ism.

Everywhere I look people are calling or sending txts or on that WhatsApp thing or facetime or any amount of kids toys they put on them these days.
Whatever happened to a handwritten letter.

Will be interesting to know if @Lord Buckethead has the same set up on his planet.

Hello Halfhorsehuman mate

Pigeons are still used for our vital communications.
We tried Whatsapp and Facetime but all the halfhelmets sent pictures of their little winkies to each other constantly and it broke the Reticulan Interweb

We still have white dog poo here. it's ace, the kids love it. Cromulon Park looks like a glowing map of the cosmos during the dark cycle
