Mobile Phones - Help please

Windows Phones aren't too bad. It depends what you want out of a phone. My dad likes his as being 60 he just wants something relatively straight forward to use, and the Windows UI is quite neat and easy to navigate. They're rubbish when it comes to apps though.

Looking for a new phone, total phone noob.

I do not care about a camera, NEA that much abar the internets, dont use my phone for internets that much.

I just want a nice phone, that lets me go on the internets now and again.

Do I need this 4G? shiz?

Currently looking at Iphones, Samsung Galaxy S5 and ive heard these HTC are decent? Or maybe I heard they were pants.
