I used to do Karate, if I were you I'd choose something like that rather than MMA - you can learn more about technique and things, it's actually really good, rather than more of the aggressive stuff.
But definitely do something like it, I loved it.
I'd have to disagree really. More techniques in MMA.
I'm not saying there's no technique in MMA, what I mean is it's aggressive and because of that you can get a lot more of the idiots who are just doing to to try and look 'hard', whereas if you do a non contact, or not as much contact sport, you can focus more on the techniques than trying to look good. See what I mean? I'm not saying MMA is bad, I just can't explain my point very well.
Also, there is a lot of techniques in karate, it's actually really interesting.
Oh yeah I know what you mean. I did it because I can actually fight technically. I'm about as hard as a slab of butter in the sun, though. You do get loads of muppets in some MMA classes who go because they're like 'YEAHHHHH BLOOD AND PUNCHING AND KNOCKING TEETH OUT YEAH!!!". Swerve.
