MLB 2025

Rollercoaster series. Baseball is a game where teams are always trying to keep things under control, close it down, get the job done. But really so much depends on pure luck and the umpire's judgement. If they had VAR on every borderline strike the game would never finish!

An incredible game, incredible series. Having difficulty thinking of a better all-around WS tbh.

Jays just couldn’t get those crucial runs across in games 6 and 7. A fast, more alert baserunner than IKF scores at home in the bottom of the ninth. What a heartbreaker.

Between that pick at second on the game-ending double play in game 6 and tying homer in game 7, Miguel Rojas had himself a series in limited action.

AL East is going to be brutal next year

Heartbreaking to lose that after taking the early lead.

Fair play to the Dodgers for coming back and they threw every starting pitcher they had at the Jays to get it done.

Hopefully the Jays put together a run again like this under Vladdys contract but it's always tough with the Yankees and Red Sox.

Oh man. It was a tough one—was really pulling for the Jays in this one. My wife is actually up in Ontario right now. It would have been nice for her and the kids to experience the celebrations.

It really felt like it was the Jays game all the way until that Muncy homer in the 8th. Scherzer outpitched Ohtani. Those two great plays in the same inning from Varsho and Vladdy.

This Jays team has some things to figure out (SPs, Bichette, etc.), but they remind me quite a bit of the 2014 Royals. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Jays follow that same pattern and win it all next year.

Nimmo going to the Rangers. Heartbroken!!! I never tired of seeing him run his hardest to first on every walk. I always wanted him, along with Pete, to be career Mets.
Yup. This one hurts. He’s a great guy and has been a great Met. Always represented the team well and gave the extra effort both on the field and off it. Consistently spent time before every game singing autographs for the fans. He signed a baseball for my oldest son last year at Camden Yards.

Baseball-wise I get it. He’s in a stage of decline and his injuries really make you wonder how long he’ll be able to play in the outfield. And there are some top prospects on their way. While Semien is older, he’s got a great glove and is still very athletic, and the contract is shorter.

With Jake and now Brandon over there, the Rangers are certainly my AL team now.
