16 years old and been missing over a week now, hopefully she will be fine. Would hate to be in the parents shoes right now.
 

She's almost certainly dead unfortunately. Laptop found discarded and two arrested already. Would be a major surprise if she was found alive at this point.

Sick people in the world.

You bet Tubey. Big argument even in these so called enlightened times about death penalty for certain crimes.

I feel for the parents and thank God I have never had to go through something like this.

If they could always apply it in cases where there's absolutely no doubt they did it and had the mindset required to consciously decide to do it, then sure.

Problem is, that isn't the case - the Americans execute the legitimately mentally ill or downright innocent people regularly.

So the death sentence is a no-goer. What would be a goer is making prison as miserable a place as possible for these people - bread and water, solitary confinement etc. - as there's no hope for rehab and life should mean life, as in incarcerated until they die.
 

Horrible. It's bad enough losing someone so young but for the parents to lose their daughter in such a manner is awful. Heart goes out to them.

There are some evil people in this world.
