Missing Games

Whilst the fans are being ripped being charged 40 odd quid for most of the tickets, I wouldn't blame anyone for not attending whether we're winning or losing. I don't think the experience is good value for money if I'm honest but I'm a pure minge bag.

Just to clarify a few things. I have had 6 season tickets in the past 15 years, been to numerous games in the seasons without season tickets, been to loads of away games, I stopped going because my wife an I had a child5 years ago and prior to the birth of our 2nd child a few weeks ago she worked every Saturday so could never get child care. I have been going since the mid 90's, I remember some horrific teams we put out and worse mangers than Martinez that we had to endure. Like waiting about 15 games to win in 94/95 Gary Ablett (RIP) when you had to go to the last 3 home games if the same season to get tickets to the Cup Final, one of which was a horrendous 0-0 draw with Wimbledon. One season under smith when we didn't score a goal at home for what seemed like ever, seasons under Moyes where we started so slowly under him it was infuriating.

I don't go now for 2 reasons ome I've mentioned and 2 is because I'm a glory hunting Kopite.

Not had much chance to defend myself as I was thread banned, but I think this has also been my best ever wind up of a fellow poster, I feel like a poor mans Davek.

Well done, you deserve a medal.....

The cost of attending a game is now pretty ridiculous but that's supply and demand. And it's only going to get more expensive.

The only good thing about the ticket prices increasing is the likelihood there will be less young lads going to the game blind drunk and high on God knows what.
