Mino Raiola, Superagent

Milk

Udderly delicious
Times today quoting Raiola:

“Now Pogba’s problem is Manchester United. It is a club out of reality, without a sports project.
Today I would no longer take anyone there, they would ruin Maradonna, Pele and Maldini”

Goes on, of course, to say:
“Paul needs a team and a club, one like Juventus”

Nothing like stick the boot in but he seems content to leave Kean here at Everton now Don Carlo’s hand is on the tiller

Personally I think these agents are too powerful and need curbing but how?

Shouldn't laugh, but for years they've been cherry picking the premier league's best players, especially ours, no sympathy for them whatsoever. But you've made a fair point agents practically run the game nowadays.

The league or FA or whatever need to put a legal cap on agent fees.

Man u dont mind when aggressively going after players from smaller teams but wont sell when it done to them. Pogba wants out, just sell him as he not even that good anyway.

Ed Woodward and the Glazers don't care about that fact really, for them he's an asset that prints the club money because of clicks he generates. Imagine a player telling Ferguson "I need an operation because my agent says I need one and you can just get on with it, I'll tell you when I feel like playing for the team again". Beckham was an even bigger star than Pogba is now and that was before social media was even a thing, yet Ferguson made sure he was sent packing because he challenged his authority.

Clubs aren't blameless, it's like corruption, you can't complain about leaders from developing countries taking bribes when it's 1st world multinationals companies handing over the cheques so they get the fat contracts.
They could all collectively take a stand against dodgy agents and their players but they don't.

Anyway didn't FIFA try and ban him last year and it came to nothing.

Pogba is at a team massively underperforming and without any clue regarding how to get back to the top of English football. Of course he and his agent are going to want to move him somewhere where he might actually win something and also make a few quid off the back of it.

Wolves relationship with Mendes is a disgrace.

The FA should have done something about that once their owners bought a stake in his agency.
Is there actually anything in the rules about them doing this? It's a loophole that needs closing for sure, but until then what's to stop them from exploiting this to the best of their abilities?

Does being an agent for a player who is in the opposition team playing Wolves count as a conflict in interests?
