The pecans make the top crust of the pie, which is filled with a combination of brown sugar, corn syrup and eggs. The good ones will have a shot of bourbon in the filling. Just too darned sweet for me. I like pecans, but not like this. Just throw them in a pan with some butter and sugar and serve them up when the pecans are nicely coated and warm. That's Christmas. (goes to kitchen)
