Minature railway in Royden Park

I had no idea these were still going strong! I remember going on these when I was 5 or 6, before we moved away, what, 40 odd years ago. They were totally the best treat ever. Great to know they still run. Anyone been there recently?

I was there recently walking the dog actually. I think it only runs on a Sunday, unless it's changed. I used to love it when I was younger though. I worked on a house over last summer and the next door neighbour who was a nice chap told me he's a volunteer who helps run it.

Used to love going here as a kid in the late 80's early 90's. one of my relatives used to run one back then. I think he was my Great Uncle, named Ken. We always used to get the best seats on them
