Just shows you that he knows how little legacy he really has at Liverpool when he can be rattled enough to react to Hicks' finger pointing at his spending record. He got lucky against Milan with Houllier's team and a captain on fire and the rest of his time there was pretty dire - including their mind-numbing run to the CL Final in 2007.
