The best little Spaniard we know has been giving his thoughts ahead of tomorrows Merseyside derby;
Mikel Arteta: "We have had some really good derbies at Everton but we have also had some not so good ones. The last one was nice because we beat them and they were devastated.
"It was a long, long night and we won it. That is the last derby and that is the one that counts right now.
"The lads will take confidence from beating them last season and I have no doubt that we can compete with them."
"I have known Pepe Reina and Fernando Torres since we were all young as we played in the national side.
"People often ask me if I have dinner with them and I say I do! We have been friends since so it's not about competition off the pitch," adds Arteta.
"However when I am on the pitch and I need to tackle a player, I sometimes go in even harder on those I know! I don't back off because we are friends."
"Liverpool aren't playing well right now. They have a lot of questions to answer at the moment because they are well behind Manchester United and Chelsea," he explained.
"Hopefully that means it is a good time for us to play them and also score against them."
