If you won £10m, how much would you give to family and friends? £10m ain't THAT much money these days, if you're thinking of stopping work and living off your winnings. I'd be reluctant to give more than £1m away, but spreading that out amongst the nearest and dearest isn't going to be much each. I'd maybe say I'd pay some/all their mortgages off, so they can have a better standard of living on their current wage.

If you invested £10m well, you could expect a 5-7% annual return. So you could have an income of in excess of £500k per annum, which would be enough to help plenty out over the course of a lifetime

Why would anyone go public with their win? I've never understood that one. Just opening yourself to be taken advantage of. Bad enough people knocking on doors trying to get you to give money now, imagine if they knew you had loads.

I wonder if those mates would have told him to quit his lifestyle if he still had the cash to fund it? Interesting they told him after his money has gone.

All of it.

With a payount of £10 million, you will be advised to get a Mortgage on whatever house you get, and rent your car in your companies name.

Your money needs to make money.

If done right, you can live like a Hollywood star without actually spending much of the £10 million.

you'd think with that money he'd be able to clean his toenails

He's a misunderstood man, really. Just a simple man with hundreds of billions of dollars.
