when i score we riot

Player Valuation: £40m
It's about as thin as a sheet of rice paper, this one, but still. Picked up as a footnote in today's transfer goss at Football365, and appearantly reported in The Sun as well as other papers:

Michael Silberbauer is a 29 year old danish midfielder/winger who currently plays in the eresdivisie for Utrecht after making a career with danish champions FC Copenhagen. He also features regularly for the danish national team and played in the World Cup this summer.

At any rate this is complete and utter tosh (he's too old, probably can't be loaned, there are better £4m-targets out there), but at least it's posted here for the record.

We were linked with him some years back and he is not good enough. He was in Danish news that he wants to leave Utrecht because he believes he can earn more elsewhere - he's their captain.

He is not skillfull enough, too slow and really a reject from FC Copenhagen, who themselves are prominent takers of Danes who flop abroad. I would rather have Kilbane back than Silberbauer.

These three words say it all. Maybe for the likes of Watford an Preston, never Everton.
