Surely the time is now right for us to sign him.....surely

I know a lot of people are going to point to his injuries, but so what...realistically he is the only chance of us getting a proven PL goalscorer. So, sign him up for next to nothing on an 18 month contract with an option for another 12 if he stays fit, then use the rest of the Bily money to also sign Rhodes from Huddersfield.

Maybe we could get Dr Mengele to sew Saha's one good leg and Owen's one good leg onto a different corpse and somehow make it into a fully functioning striker. Because neither have shown anything in over 12 months about even pretending to be fully pro football players.

Oooooh Lawdy..my aching sides.. I do hope this is an early April fool's gag. Kudos to you, if it is (y) While we are there why not sign Owen Hargreaves with the left over dosh ..

He's the only realistic option for me. Everytime he's played for United he's put the ball in the net.

He's one of the richest footballers in the world, he makes plenty of money from his horses (lol) so I'm sure he'd be willing to take a slight pay cut for a season to play regularly for his boyhood club.

Manchester united make chances, we would just smash the ball up in the air and say good luck.

We lack the cuttinge edge in the final third because our striker is not willing to run anywhere, and our other striker is a headless chicken and has 0 ball control.

Owen gets in the right position and can create openings with his movement.
