Only 3 goals conceded in Keanes last 7 starts. Personally I think Moyes will keep him. The wages will have to go down somewhat but as far as 3rd or 4th choice centre backs go you can't argue with those stats.

Yes the City performance was wild but he is very much a hot or cold player and he hadn't played for a long time prior to that one and was thrown in unexpectedly but has bounced back brilliantly since.

I honestly think he will stay. He knows the way we play, he's professional albeit a bit rash at times. Experienced and the stats back up his performances and he can score a goal. Where do you find an alternative to that with any ease?

It’s mad isn’t it but if he is happy to be 4th choice then we could do a lot worse. We have bigger priorities to focus our spending on. Plus his goals are a genuine asset.

I am happy either way though. We know he isn’t good enough really, certainly miles below our other three. However you can’t change half of your team in one go and expect a good season.

The thing is he isn't miles worse than the others. He just lacks the consistency. On his day you could argue he's better than some of the others as he offers more of a set piece threat but his issue is when he loses his head then he really loses it

Fair do's, played well. I really don't want him to stay but that doesn't mean we can't acknowledge his performance today. Hope he finishes his career positively, seems a lovely fella with a bit going on off the field but just not quite cut out for it.

He's looked calmer and comes across well. If he'll take a pay cut and be happy to sit on the bench, then it'd solve one recruitment issue
