Shame Gough lumped us in with that gutless shower up there.

[Edit: And if anyone had the right to tear into Walter 'disappointed' Smith, it is very much Ball]

Perhaps Gough would care to pay Finch Farm a visit real soon and offer/demand half an hour with squad while El Bob brews up ?

Ha Ha Ha.

But Gough backs him up on the mistake...which doesn't surprise me given the egomaniac that ginger headed tit was.
Sentiment is right though - a few do need a good kick in the teeth.

I agree with the thrust of it yeah. The players need to be front and centre getting the brickbats not the manager. That's spot on. But just commenting on it probably draws unwanted attention to all this, so it's a mixed blessing I suppose.

Ha Ha, Ball's first comment...cant get over that. That's footy players for you I suppose.

No leader anymore, there is nobody on that pitch i would be scared to let down - equally nobody there looks like a superman

It pains me to say it but Neville would have been a huge assistance to Martinez at this point, being his eyes and ears in the dressing room. It's just a pity he couldn't play football to stay on.
