The game being released in March is MGS 5: Ground Zeroes which is the prologue to MGS 5: Phantom Pain which will be released at a later (as yet unannounced date).

Ground Zeroes is going to be expensive in the UK though:

- £29.99 for the physical copy of it on current gen consoles
- £29.99 for the digital copy on Next-Gen
- £19.99 for the digital copy on current-gen
 
The old series are the best, 2 in particular are works of art:

Metal Gear Solid
Silent Hill (games 1-4)

the two best series with massive detailed storylines if any of you have played silent hill for example its impossible to understand the game without researching the Japanese developers theories and notes onto the background of the game/how the town/religion (the order) works. Silent hill 2 Is for me the most psychologically detailed game of all time, I advise anyone who hasn't played it to play it if u have the old ps2 then research the game online through forums/developers notes, would take ages but when 2+2 go together its amazing how that game is developed.

back then some games had massive amounts of work put into them, now its just crap.
 
Now that the dust has settled on Ground Zeroes, who is looking forward to Phantom Pain? I keep an eye on its development. A youtuber called yongyea does fantastic comprehensive videos on the latest news on the game. They have made a lot of changes on the game from Zeroes. Kojima listened to feed back from fans and had made a lot of changes. He used Zeroes for that the smart Jap.

The stories often become a hot mess but that's really my only complaint about the series. The boss fights in these games are still way beyond anything in the action/adventure genre.

Keifer will do OK but Hayter is a better voice for him. Plus sometimes big time actors have a tendency to mail these things in. The only famous actor/actress I can thing of who didn't was Haley Joel Osment as Sora.

EDIT: GTA does pretty good with their famous VAs.
 
I've never played 1 but 2 and 3 were boss. I remember when I was first doing 3 and it was about midnight at Halloween and I got to the point were you are walking through that swamp and all of the ghosts of the people you have killed are trying to freak you out. Scared the crap out of me that.

Also what's the chronology. At the moment it goes 3 1 2 4 so where does 5 fit in.

I never did get the whole different snake things. Like in 3 who were we playing as? I know 2 1 and 4 it was the original solid snake.

And we'll pretend that MG Rising doesn't exist.
