Might've spoke too soon there ffs, now playing the 'did it get me' waiting game.
'kin East lancs Road with it's speed changing all over the shop, when you've driven a road for 30plus years & it's been National Speed Limit on the majority of it then it really is difficult getting used to all of the new bits that're 40 & 50 now. Got speed cameras on my sat nav as well but they don't always get the mobile 1's.
If I did get caught then hoping for the speed awareness thing to avoid the points as only had 3 speeding tickets in all of that time. The difference it makes to your insurance - the days of not having to declare anything below 6 points are long gone btw, and the last time put my insurance up by nearly £200 & that's each year they are on there ffs, so avoiding the points can save you a fair bit... not as much as sticking to the speed limit I should add.
If it isn't offered can you ask for it ?
