i actually think that's a good effort...it's great to create new things. The xmas choir looping over the rapping is novel and kinda works. The rapping technique itself is decent, you'd win the odd round in local rap battles. But the tone of your voice isn't that attractive. Maybe you could colour your voice's character a bit. The other issue is you rap too much (we wouldn't expect any less from you). Leaving some room for the beats to breathe is a good plan, also helps the listener happily anticipate the next verse (or even chorus). The production is too bassheavy, distorting at some points (you probably mixed this with bassy headphones).

Another thing...both your uploads are 4 years old, and they have a combined 160 views. So in terms of getting your stuff out there, and it being good enough for people to enjoy and spread the word, something's not working.

I make my own musik too. To spread the word and get decent feedback, I sometimes post my efforts on a related forum (in my case a synth forum). It's a worthwhile experience for those of us too lazy to play live gigs or not happening enough to get record deals.

That primary school that came on the pitch singing were awful. They were well out of key and was really embarrassing. Definitely picked a song that was wrong for them.

...and you have the nerve to post your "rap"

*shakes head, looks up at Mick, goes to say something, thinks better of it, looks away and shakes head again

I'm still gonna make music and the more I make the better I get. I'm also concentrating on acting at the moment so I'm putting most of my time in that.

One day I'll write my own script and the music to it as well. I'm not talking in the foreseeable future, probably when I'm in my 40's or something. There's a lot I want to accomplish first.

I need to network with like-minded people. People who understand the industry and have the same idea as me.

If I told people in work my intentions they would say stuff like "you're here for life like the rest of us" or "put your energy into your job you do now" "you're 27, you won't make it" that attitude doesn't grind me down because I know with persistence I will be successful, I will work very hard and put all of my effort into it. My girlfriends Dad laughs at me but it doesn't affect me, if I want something, I'll get it.
