Today i went to my local JJB to buy two kits one 6/7 and the other 2/3 , no problem with regards stock as they had them however they didn't have the away kit numbers and didn't know when they would get them. Plenty of pre printed red [Poor language removed] shirts though. I decided to leave the kits and went to JJB in town and to my suprise they didn't have any of the away kits in stock age 6/7,now this is Evertons OFFICIAL retail partner for christ sake. I tried to order the kits online via the megastore but the megastore don't provide numbers online. So basically after willing to spend over £70 it's still in my pocket!!!

The merchandise is a bit of a shambles, I would like to blame it all on JJB being crap but I can't. The club must know the merchandise situation is poor but they don't seem to do much about it. They were messed about by Umbro with the home kit not being available when it should have been. They also seem to yet to have a new third strip, are we using last seasons third strip? If we are, you can't get it online from the megastore, if we are not using last seasons third strip, what are we going to be wearing away against West Brom next week (would we get away with the home or away shirt?).

The sooner the new kit is available the more they are likely to sell, our home kit was out July time but the away kit has only just become available, why couldn't they have them both available mid or early June.

I've had problems with stuff not being available on the online megastore (ran by JJB) but available on the JJB site, which annoys me as I presume JJB take a bigger cut from their website than our megastore. I heard rumours a while ago that we were switching to Kitbag to run our online stuff, unfortunatley this hasn't happened yet - hopefully next season though.

At the moment the club seem to be happy with settling for second best when it comes to merchandise.

wanted to buy the new kit to take on holiday until the shambles of a delay, then they leave the sponsor off the kids kits so my son didnt want it "its not the same as the players!" he screamed they should drop jjb it looks like the other lot are official partners the amount of floorspace all there kit takes up . hopefully when we move to kirkby they will build a giant store

Newsflash....that's off.

its the same with most of the jjb shops our official partner stocks more chelsea shirts than ours the whole merchandise deparment needs a complete overhaul you can buy a red [Poor language removed] top of anysize in town but not a blue one

just use the sportsdirect group, i.e. sportssoccer/sportsworld/streetwise the sportsdirect website has our stuff too. they have limited stock due to jjb being the offical merch. but they have to allow them to sell our stuff due to trading laws.

One issue that has puzzled me for a while now. Why did our official club store in town close down. It could not have been down to a lack of trade, nor could it not have anything to do with jjb. Was this just the continuous trend of shifting everything Everton out of the city. Can anyone enlighten me with why the city centre club shop was closed down??

and why have they not got a spec in the new liverpool one complex? - anyone new to football or tourist who decides to go to town lookin to do some shoppin and maybe pick up a strip from the local team is going to have one choice only, red.

Very true. We have two official club stores in Birkenhead and by Goodison itself. RS have stores at ann field, Liverpool One and Chester. Why dont we have a store besides at Goodison elsewhere within the city boundaries?? Why can't we find a site for a new ground within the city boundaries?? Why could'nt we find a site for a new training ground within the city boundaries?? Anyone see a pattern developing here?

Well went back in today and they had them so my kids will be happy when i get home. Piss poor JJB
