As suggested, a new 'Membership Upgrade Subscription' will effectively replace the current 'Forum Supporter' donation system. There isn't much difference; the new forum software just provides a feature that makes it easier for us to manage any donations. It'll essentially streamline donations.
So in future, if you want to donate to the pot, please do so by upgrading your membership through the 'Settings' tab, where you will see 'Paid Subscriptions' down the side.
As with the current 'Forum Supporter' donation system, as a way of thanks for chipping in with costs for your donation/membership upgrade, you'll receive a few extra unspectacular perks.
Upgrade as a way of donation, rather than with the idea of receiving 'Value for money'.
Everyone who has ever donated since our creation in 2007 will be assigned a 'Gold Subscription'. Be sure to let me know if your account isn't upgraded.
