Meditation and mindfulness

I practice transcendental meditation relatively frequently, find it easier and more restful than the other types like seeing yourself walking through some mind cave or with the breathing techniques etc.

Absolutely. Big fan of mindful breathing and relaxation, find this just helps centre myself when I feel overwhelmed and stressed *slaps pet Buddish monk as he dances on hot stones*
Can you explain to your journey in this for anyone reading who might be pondering making some life changes for these very reasons.

Again would be great if you expand on this, transcendental meditation is something that interests me and no doubt others.

We were taught it in teacher training. It has probably saved the lives of at least two obnoxious head teachers at my hands. Often find myself just stopping and breathing and listening, focussing to the tiniest sounds at increasing distance. The difficulty is resuming normal routines afterwards. Big fan. The missus needs to learn to do it.
