I know this was rumoured pre-season.

Just watching Ireland v Estonia now and McGeady, playing left wing, has just put a superb cross onto the head of Keith Andrews and it's 1-0.

McGeady and Baines on the left, Drenth and Coleman on the right and suddenly we have pace in the side.

McGeady is a winger we would really need so we don't have to play with Osman. I´d rather see Landon though. Donavan>McGeady>Pienaar>Billy

McGeady is a weird one, he,s a bit sh*t, he,s a bit good, i can never really make my mind up on him, i mean tonight against an average side he done some good things but also ran into blind alleys without looking up and lost the ball.
One thing he has is pace and more pace and would be a great outlet for us but will frustrate the fcuk out of ye also.

1 superb cross??? Bily does more then one superb thing a game but we dont play with strikers so nothing comes of it.

Agreed. He blows hot and cold, but it's great to see him running at defenders and winning free kicks. Also now has a good defensive side to his game which he showed particularly in Russia last month where he ended up covering for Ward's mistakes. I can't help thinking that his all round game would appeal to David Moyes who could work on him a bit more. Unfortunately Bily is not going to make it in the EPL so a swap with Mc Geady which would mean he went back to Russia would make a lot of sense.

Cant be arsed to to find post, but i suggested this last season.

Straight swap at the border (check point Charlie style),, it was shot down on here.

but i think it would be good business.. I do, honest..
