Its why i think delefou will start against the sides that park the bus from now on mate, he creates nightmares for teams sitting too deep with his running/shooting

He wont have much room to run in if he is facing two banks of four. He hasn't had to face defences like that in his Barca B career thats for sure. Dunno if the Spanish youths face that kind of challenge though.

you need to win your home games against teams like this simple as really, they looked better under that rene but hopefully we go for the jugglar from the off I think an early goal would knock their confidence

Why?

You can play a good game and just don't get breaks. So long as they put in the effort I don't see the point in fuming over a draw with Fulham. I'd be disappointed alright, but City going from hammering teams at home to messing up away shows you that in this league you can't take any game or team for granted. Especially one with a new manager who has just gotten them 3 points after a close loss against Spurs.

We played great against Man U and Arsenal but lacked quality in the final third. We will have more possession in the next few games starting with Saturday which means it will be the final third that will be crucial. Going on the evidence of the crossing/passing in the final third in our last two games I wouldn't be hugely suprised to see us struggle to a Fulham team sitting deep.

But as I said above I trust Bobby to be working on this problem.

Maybe they'd deserve to be shot as i think we have the best home record against fulham that we have vs any team in the league mate, something ridiculous like 21 wins 2 draws the last 23 home games vs them, they have also been utter rubbish this year, have a team full of crap and we are flying in the league and especially at home this year.

If the game was away i'd say you have a point, but at home vs this type of team, anything less than 3 point is a huge failure and throws away the good work done in the utd and arsenal games

Type of player he is mate, he will create something out of nothing, failing that a good chance one of their lumps will chop him down for a pen, look at his recent games when hes managed to find a way past 2/3 players somehow to crack off a good shot to see that

I would say Gerald will be perfectly suited for such a game.

His close control will take him through their banks.

I am willing to wager a sporting quid that if Gerald plays from the getgo on Saturday we will get our first penalty of the season.

If he was more wiling to go down he could have had 2 vs stoke, fair play to the lad staying on his feet trying to score instead, but sometimes if your genuinely caught hard its the smart thing to do
