Why?
You can play a good game and just don't get breaks. So long as they put in the effort I don't see the point in fuming over a draw with Fulham. I'd be disappointed alright, but City going from hammering teams at home to messing up away shows you that in this league you can't take any game or team for granted. Especially one with a new manager who has just gotten them 3 points after a close loss against Spurs.
We played great against Man U and Arsenal but lacked quality in the final third. We will have more possession in the next few games starting with Saturday which means it will be the final third that will be crucial. Going on the evidence of the crossing/passing in the final third in our last two games I wouldn't be hugely suprised to see us struggle to a Fulham team sitting deep.
But as I said above I trust Bobby to be working on this problem.
